As you have noticed, I like Asian food and have a lot of Asian addresses. Here is a new one about a sweet and cute bubble tea store in Barcelona called Here.

In my favourite bubble tea store in Barcelona

Each time I come, there is a queue inside and outside the store. That is because the place is good. The crowd is mixed: numerous Asian customers, but also non-Asian nationalities, of all ages.

The store and the tea room are cute, with the bar upstairs giving on the street and the tea room downstairs. It does not have much natural light but you are surrounded by pastel colours. Clean, calming and modern.

My favourite bubble tea: Matcha with tapioca pearls

I love matcha. I would take any chance I get to taste it in different forms, and in Here, I can have an iced yummy matcha milk tea with tapioca pearls. I like the texture of the black chewy tapioca balls.

I have come several times, but each time I ordered this drink as it is. I added a second topping once, but I prefer my classic go to: an iced matcha with milk and tapioca pearls. It is perfect the way it is and so good. I can distinctively taste the tea, the milk, and I can choose the sugar level I want to add to it.

Their other stuff

Mind you. The store offers more options of bubble teas, juices and other beverages. The choice is a bit overwhelming.

All the drinks look delicious, creative, and fresh. Some of them are very colourful and appealing to my senses. I just don’t want to stray off my favourite one. Did I say it was so good? Next time I will though. With the summer coming, more fruity options could be more thirst-quenching. Some of the drinks have whipped cream on and are served in nicely decorated cups. I wonder how they taste. I will know next time.

The store also has cakes. I bought a layered crepe with cream cake once. The cream was too thick for my liking. This place is top for bubble teas, and it is ok priced. 5 euros a medium-sized tea.

Here is located in the city center, not far from Arc de Triomf, so you can easily schedule a break during a walk in the city. If you want to repeat, they give a loyalty card. I already have 3 stamps on mine. How many do you have?
