Are you looking to get into the Christmas mood? Search no more and check out the Oso WinterFest! This latter is a new event in town.
An event to transport you and help you forget the everyday nonsense
OSO wanted to create “something that transports people and helps them forget the everyday nonsense that drags them down in daily life”.
So they took over the Monastery of Sant Miquel in Poble Espanyol. They put up the Oso WinterFest for our pleasure only, eyes and senses! Indeed the festival includes live music, street food, movies and a market, among other surprises.
Last day for the Christmas fest so hurry!
The Oso WinterFest will happen this weekend. And today is the last day. But there is still time, so hurry to get a ticket!
I am particularly interested in the broadcasted movies. I love watching Christmas movies. This afternoon, they will show “Home alone” with Macaulay Culkin (bring on the childhood memories) and “It’s a wonderful life”, a (much) older movie.
I salute Oso’s initiative to remind us that Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year.
The ticket price is 12 euros. You can buy it online. See you there!

The post-Christmas event review
I went to the Oso Winterfest on Sunday afternoon as planned.
The Monastery is a beautiful building, but with all the lights and the Christmas tree, it acquired a magical touch.
The bands were amazing and “Home alone” funny (but that is expected). We got a free beer as a surprise. What a nice touch!
The entire event was delightful. Next year, I hope OSO WinterFest will come back with a more Christmasy atmosphere!
